The North East Borough Streets Department has begun twice-weekly garbage collection which starts on Monday, June 1, 2026, and ends on Friday, September 25, 2026. If your regular garbage collection is on Mondays then you may also put out garbage on Thursday each week; if your garbage is usually collected on Tuesday, then you may also put out garbage on Friday.
This is in addition to the grass and brush collection that the Borough Streets Department offers to Borough residents every week. If residents have any specific questions regarding this program or general inquires, they are encouraged to contact the Borough Garage at (814) 725-1315.
